Both bedrooms have a Queen bed and an ensuite with a shower. The open-plan living and dining area looks into the treetops, and a large deep bath with garden views sits open to the main bedroom. The cottage has a full, well-equipped kitchen and reverse-cycle air-conditioning.

The setting

Tamborine Mountain

Sky Island sits high on the eastern side of the mountain, surrounded by subtropical gardens and bushland. Residents are welcome to use the shared observation deck overlooking the Gold Coast and Pacific.

The residences adjoin our small guest retreat. Quiet hours are 9 pm–8 am, and the deck is intended for quiet enjoyment rather than gatherings.

The grounds are unfenced and there is steep terrain down towards the road, so the setting will not suit every household.
